Honfleur will close at 3pm Saturday December 20th for the holidays.

The Honfleur Gallery will be closed from Monday December 22nd - January 5th.
We will reopen our doors on Tuesday Janaury 6th.

The Honfleur Gallery is located in Historic Anacostia between the 11th Street Bridge and Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., SE Washington, D.C. The gallery holds 1350 sq. feet of exhibition space with another 400 sq. feet on the second floor commonly referred to as the "Workshop at 1241."

The gallery exhibits & represents both fine contemporary arts & artists, while also incorporating non-salable, socially-minded exhibitions & installations. Honfleur aims to provide better access to The Arts for residents “East of the Anacostia River,” D.C., Affordable Artist Workspace and a diverse range of Artistic Opportunities for Washington D.C. Honfleur is a project of ARCH, a community based not for profit in Historic Anacostia. www.archdc.org ARCH has been a member of the Anacostia Community for over 20 years and believes that arts and culture play an important role in community revitalization & development.

The Honfleur Gallery opened its doors in January of 2007. The facilities' construction was funded, in part, by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities. Past funders' include The Dept. of Arts Culture & Leisure in Northern Ireland & The Deputy Mayors office for Planning and Economic Development. 2008 funders include the Morris and Gwendolyn Caftritz Foundation, PNC Bank, as well as, the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.

Gallery Hours: Noon – 5pm , Tuesday through Friday and 11am to 5pm on Saturdays.

Take 495/95 North over the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Exit after the bridge onto 295 North Follow 295 about 6 miles Exit onto Pennsylvania Ave. East Take a right onto Minnesota Ave. Follow Minnesota until it dead ends into Good Hope Rd. Take a right onto Good Hope Rd. Go three blocks, Gallery will be on your left

From Maryland

Take the BW Parkway South
Follow the split at the end of the Parkway towards 295 South Stay on 295 South for approximately 5 miles Exit onto Pennsylvania Ave. East Take a right onto Minnesota Ave. Follow Minnesota until it dead ends into Good Hope Rd. Take a right onto Good Hope Rd. Go three blocks, Gallery will be on your left.

From Downtown, D.C.

Take 395 North Follow it north and merge right onto Martin Luther King Ave. Follow Martin Luther King Straight into downtown Anacostia (do not right merge onto 295) Take a left onto Good Hope Rd. Gallery will be on the first block on your right hand side.
